Lawcover is proud to be a member of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF) and the Business Council of Cooperatives and Mutuals (BCCM). These organisations represent the mutual ethos with which we run our insurance and professional services business.
ICMIF is the only global representative body of the cooperative and mutual insurance sector. It provides unique services and activities and delivers enduring value to its members which cannot be found elsewhere.
ICMIF is owned, governed and actively guided by its member organizations so, just like a good cooperative or mutual, it can gauge and respond to its members’ changing needs and expectations. It exists to help strengthen its members’ competitiveness by delivering unique market information, networking opportunities, leadership development programmes and global advocacy.
The Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM) is Australia’s only peak body for co-operatives and mutuals across all industries. BCCM works to increase awareness of these businesses and their important contribution to the national economy and community development of Australia.
